How should I choose a formula?

Start with your surface and whether the finished object will be indoors or outdoors. Then compare the finish you want. The paint finder is a useful first step.

What is the difference between dry and cured?

A coating can feel dry before it has completed its curing process. Follow the current bottle instructions before washing, heavy handling or outdoor exposure.

Can I mix different FolkArt formulas?

Do not assume different formula families can be mixed without changing their behavior. Follow the manufacturer’s directions and test a small sample. Choose colors within a compatible formula when planning a palette.

Is non-toxic paint safe for food-contact surfaces?

A non-toxic designation is not a food-contact approval. Keep decorative paint away from food, drink and mouth-contact areas unless the product explicitly supports that use.

Why can packaging or colors look different?

Packaging changes and some sets may have an assortment that varies. Product galleries can also include application examples in other colors. Confirm the selected color, size and contents in the purchase tab.

What does Price checked mean?

The number is a saved checked price for the selected item. Prices and availability can change. The final amount is the one shown in the purchase tab before you order.

Where is checkout?

The purchase button opens our partner’s product page in a new tab. You choose any final options and place the order there. This site does not collect payment or shipping details.

How do I get help with an order?

Do the product photographs include everything in the pack?

The selected pack contents are stated beside the product. Project photographs illustrate possible uses and may include other paint colors, tools and objects that are not included.
